Throughout this website, the terms “Cartco”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Cartco and the website located at www.cartco.co.nz, including all related content, tools, products, services and features (the “Services”).

Cartco operates this online store using the Shopify ecommerce platform. By visiting, browsing, or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

Cartco reserves the right to cancel orders at our discretion, including in cases of:

  • stock availability issues
  • suspected fraud
  • bulk purchases intended for resale
  • incorrect product information.

If an order is cancelled after payment is processed, a full refund will be issued.

6. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change without notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, Cartco reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.

Payment must be received before orders are dispatched.

7. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time we may offer promotions, discount codes or special offers.

These promotions may have separate terms and conditions. If there is any conflict between promotion terms and these Terms of Service, the promotion terms will apply.

Cartco reserves the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are dispatched from New Zealand.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to:

  • courier delays
  • weather events
  • customs processing
  • circumstances outside our control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

Responsibility for the parcel transfers once delivery has been completed to the address provided and confirmed by courier tracking.

9. Delivery Claims and Investigations

If you believe your order has been lost, stolen or delivered incorrectly, please notify us as soon as possible so we can investigate with the courier provider.

We may require:

  • your order number
  • delivery confirmation details
  • supporting evidence such as photos.

Courier investigations may take time and outcomes depend on the courier provider.

10. Safe Delivery Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing a secure and accurate delivery address.

If a parcel is delivered to the address provided during checkout and the courier deems the location safe, Cartco is not responsible for loss or theft after delivery.

If your location may not be secure, we recommend delivery to a workplace, parcel locker or secure location.

11. Delivery Confirmation

Delivery is considered complete when the courier confirms successful delivery.

Confirmation may include:

  • courier tracking confirmation
  • photographic proof of delivery
  • GPS delivery confirmation.

Cartco may rely on courier confirmation as evidence that delivery has occurred.

12. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other New Zealand consumer laws.

13. Returns Abuse

Cartco reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds where the policy is being misused.

Examples include:

  • returning used or damaged products
  • returning incomplete items
  • excessive return requests
  • returning products not purchased from Cartco.

Where misuse is identified, we may restrict future purchases.

14. Fraud Prevention

Cartco monitors transactions for suspicious activity.

  • cancel suspicious orders
  • request identity verification
  • suspend accounts
  • refuse future purchases.

Fraudulent behaviour may include payment fraud, chargeback abuse, identity misuse or false delivery claims.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, Cartco may suspend the account while the issue is investigated.

If a dispute is filed without first contacting our support team, we may:

  • dispute the chargeback with evidence
  • restrict future purchases
  • recover reasonable administrative costs where permitted by law.

Cartco reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders or restrict website access if we believe a customer is engaging in fraud, policy abuse or misuse of the Services.
